Deceits

Los Angeles post-punk band DECEITS has been building something real from the ground up since forming in 2021. The band has self-released its entire catalog, sold out tours, and pressed vinyl that disappears almost as quickly as it arrives. They've headlined sold-out shows at the historic El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles and The Glass House in Pomona, were personally invited by She Wants Revenge to open one of their sold-out performances, and have taken that momentum to stages including Cruel World 2025 and tours across Europe and Mexico. With three songs surpassing 4 million combined streams and coverage from Post-Punk.com and the Los Angeles Times, DECEITS has emerged as a standout voice in modern post-punk, blending the genre's dark atmosphere with the color, rhythm, and emotional intensity of the Spanish-language music they grew up with. The result is a sound that feels nostalgic yet entirely their own: moody, melodic, and impossible to stand still to. Now entering a new chapter with "One Day You'll Hurt As Much As Me," their first release with Get Better Records, DECEITS delivers a dark, cathartic meditation on heartbreak and betrayal that balances vulnerability with reckoning, turning slow-burning pain into something almost ritualistic, part confession and part curse.
