MEL MUÑIZ

IMG_0323 (1)_edited_edited_edited_edited

Argentine singer-songwriter Mel Muñiz revives the profound emotion of classic Latin music for contemporary audiences. Her sound is a captivating fusion where the timeless warmth of old Latin orchestras meets modern storytelling and dramatic, heartfelt lyrics. Winds, strings, boleros, danzones, rumba, and bachata drive her deeply personal, intensely orchestral, and unapologetically romantic soundscape.

After years performing across jazz and swing ensembles, she released her solo debut Aguerrida (2020), followed by La Santa Patrona de los Corazones Negros (2023), produced by Juan Pablo de Mendonca–the defining work that solidified her signature fusion. She currently tours her theatrical show Serenata para SALIR DE UN ECLIPSE internationally, while continuing to write, collaborate, and bring her evocative music to global stages.
